Fun in the leaves

I’ve had some fab sessions since I took the decision not to post sneak peeks on my blog, and I can’t wait to share them with you!

I met this lovely family in Bushy Park on a Saturday morning a few weeks ago. We had a great time playing around in the leaves.

The brothers are already best of friends so they made it nice and easy for me to capture them having fun together.

Little boys and their cuddly toys just makes my heart melt.
Towards the end of the session little George was getting a little teary. So what did we give him to cheer him up? Daddy’s wallet of course!

And it worked! Check out big brother’s face with Daddy’s card. He’ll probably pull the exact same face in 15 years time if Dad gives him a credit card then!
And at the end of the session I asked Tommy & Sarah if they would like me to take some shots of them on their own. I’m so pleased they said yes!

The last time most parents had photos of them together was on their wedding day, which is a real shame! I’m going to try and end all of my sessions with some lovely romantic shots like this. Who says romance has to end when you have kids?!

Here is the email I received from Sarah after they had seen their gallery:

“Just had a look and they are all brilliant!! We are going to struggle to narrow down our favourites.

You have such a fantastic talent, you’ve captured us all in such a great light in a perfect setting.  I love them so much, I’ve looked at them about ten times already – they make me so happy!”

When I get emails like this I just love my job even more!!

If you like what you see and are interested in booking a session with me to capture your family, I am now taking bookings from March 2011. My weekend sessions are already booked up until mid May so if you would like a session in Spring/Summer then please contact me now so that we can get it in the diary. March/April is fantastic for daffodil sessions…check out this post to see my favourite daffodil shoot from last year

These are fabulous and really capture the fun of the session and the personalities of the family. I love that the boys are not smiling in every shot, that's real life!

Gorgeous! I'm not surprised that they're struggling to choose
