I hope you all had a great half-term. I really enjoyed hanging out with my boys, although I would have preferred it to be a bit (actually a lot!) warmer. I have my spring mini sessions in a couple of weeks time so it better have warmed up by then. I can’t do spring mini sessions in the snow!
Here is a baby session I did last year that I didn’t get round to sharing with you. This gorgeous little boy was 8 months old at the time of the shoot which is my favourite baby age. When they are still all squidgy but they are lovely and smiley too!
See I told you he was lovely and squidgy!
If you read my blog regularly, you’ll know that I’m not big on props. I love capturing babies just as they are, so that the images will still look as good in 20 years time as they do now. However I love finding things in my clients’ homes that are personal to them that will look great in their photos. I saw this chalkboard saying ‘I love you’ hanging up in their hallway and they said they had used it in some of their wedding photos. So it made perfect sense to get their baby boy to hold in in their photos to continue the story of their family!
