I hope you all had a wonderful Jubilee weekend. We had a great time and it’s made me feel really excited about the olympics now!
Firstly I just wanted to say thank you for all of your lovely comments, messages and tweets about Sam’s 2nd birthday shoot. I was delighted that you all liked the photos of my little boy as much as I did! I realised afterwards that post was my 250th blog post…wow, that’s a lot of me rambling on!
The shoot I want to share with you today was with 3 lovely brothers and their lovely Doberman in the bluebell woods. It was just after all of the rain we had in May (which seems to have come back again!) but we were so lucky to have a beautiful sunny morning for the shoot. Although it was very boggy and me and my cameras did nearly end up head first in the mud on more than one occasion! I did a shoot with this family around 3 years ago when the middle son was a baby. It was so lovely to meet the new addition to the family. What a lovely trio they are!
I adore shooting in bluebells, it was such a shame that it rained most of the time they were out this year! And I think the boys’ blue outfits looked great with the colour in the woods.
As well as this blog, I also now have another one dedicated to my Surrey photography workshops. Last week I wrote a guide to buying a digital camera which you may be interested in reading if you are in the market for a new camera but are completely daunted by all of the choices and jargon!
