One of the things I love about photographing in the UK is using our wonderful changing seasons as backdrops. Every season brings with it different colour and something new. This family shoot took place in September just as summer was turning to autumn. So Bushy Park was looking beautiful, with the long grass still left from the summer but with some of the autumn colour starting to show. I showed a sneak peek of this family in my last post about what to wear for your autumn shoot, as they co-ordinated their outfits beautifully!
This beautiful little lady is nearly 2 which can be a very tricky age to photograph, especially when it’s your own child! I get so many enquiries from despairing parents of toddlers who just can’t get a decent photo of them! And when I had the pre-shoot telephone chat with the mum of this little girl, she told me that she turned her back whenever the camera was turned and was refusing to have her photo taken. I do love a challenge! However during the shoot she wasn’t a challenge at all as you can see by these photos…my camera loved her!
I’m currently processing the family’s order and I can’t wait to see the results! They have ordered a stunning fine art Folio album as well as some frames and gift prints.
This is my busiest time of the year at the moment with lots of lovely autumn shoots and getting all of the orders ready in time for Christmas. My autumn mini sessions took place on Saturday morning and they went brilliantly, I’m looking forward to sharing the results with you very soon.
