A photo shoot with 3 lovely sisters

I’m SO pleased that it’s warmed up, spring has finally arrived (albeit about 6 weeks late!) I’ve been loving the sunshine recently, it makes entertaining the kids so much easier doesn’t it? Last weekend I took some time out from my business and the boys and went on a wonderful weekend with a lovely group of lifestyle photographers. We had a great time photographing each other one evening so I’ll post some photos from our weekend very soon. I’ve only been away once or twice on my own since having the boys, and as much as I miss them when I’m not with them, it’s so important that us mums get some time off!

I’ve been really looking forward to sharing this session with you. I loved photographing these 3 lovely sisters. When I photograph older children I just love finding out more about them and trying to bring their personalities and interests into the images. We did the session at their home in East Clandon, Surrey. At the beginning of the session I learnt more about each of the girls by them showing me their favourite things in their bedrooms.

When I spoke to their mum on the phone before the session, I learnt that she just loved candid natural shots so I made sure that I captured lots of photos of the girls playing together. These are the photos they will really treasure when they are all grown up!

We then went for a little walk from their house where I managed to persuade mum and dad to get in some of the photos!

And check out the youngest sister’s splits…oh how I wish I was as flexible as this, I can barely touch my toes!

The family were delighted with the images and have ordered some gorgeous products including lots of lovely wall frames and a fine art album. I’ll try and take some pics of the products before I deliver them so I can share them on here.
