My boys in London (and an update on availability)

Hands up if you are fed up with this weather? Yep me too. Roll on Spring is all I can say!

I keep hearing from lots of parents at the moment that they don’t feel inspired to pick up their cameras and take photos of their children when it’s so grey and wet outside. I can empathise completely! And it doesn’t help that when our children are at home this time of year, it’s normally dark!

So when the boys had an school inset day last week, I decided to take them (and my camera) on a trip to South Bank, London. I have shared some more of the photos from our trip along with my  tips on photographing children when the weather is miserable over on my workshop blog. Once my new training website is live (which will hopefully be end of this month, hooray!) I will be putting all of my personal posts of my family over on that blog. But I’ll make sure I link from here too so you don’t miss any.

Here is a shot of my little one on the train, I do love a nice reflection photo!

And here is my big boy…

Make sure you check out my blog post to see lots more photos from our day out and tips to help you take better photos.

I just wanted to give you a quick update on my availability for this year if you are thinking of booking a shoot with me. My spring and summer mini sessions are fully booked. I had a list of people interested so they filled up really quickly, sorry if you were waiting for an announcement on here! However I do now have one mini session in the lavender fields available. One of the families had to pull out, although they have a very good excuse as they are having a baby that week! Make sure you contact me quickly if you want to snap it up.

And my diary is looking busy for full custom sessions too. My next available sessions are at the end of May and I can only take on 5 more sessions before the summer holidays. I’m trying to give myself some time to create the content for my new online course so I’m going to make myself be strict on that number too! So do make sure you get in touch sooner rather than later if you want to book a shoot with me.

I hope you find my tips useful and manage to get some nice photos of your children in this horrible weather!
