I hope you’re having a good week.
I did my second morning of autumn mini sessions at the weekend. It started raining right at the end of the first session so we thought we were going to have to reschedule the rest, but thank goodness the rain stopped and I managed to photograph all of the families. And managed to get some gorgeous photos too, phew! It was my last time working with my lovely friend Claire who has been assisting me on my mini session mornings for the past 3 years, I’m going to miss her so much! You can see a selfie we took on the morning here on my Facebook page. I advertised for a new assistant in my Facebook group with all of my workshop attendees. I was overwhelmed with the response, and ended up choosing 2 lovely new assistants! One will be assisting me on my mini sessions in the Esher/Surbiton area and one will be assisting me on mini sessions and workshops in the the Farnham/Haslemere area. I’m excited about working with them both!
I will share all of my autumn sessions with you soon, but I still have lots of summer ones to share with you! It doesn’t get much more summery than this gorgeous session in the lavender fields in Surrey. This was part of my mini session morning that I ran, so all of these photos were taken in a fun 20 minutes! Scroll down the page for details of my lavender mini sessions next year (be quick, only 2 slots remaining!)
I’m planning ahead and have already announced the details of my lavender mini session morning next year. You can see all of the details here. Be quick if you’re interested, I only have 2 spaces left (my lavender shoots always prove to be very popular! :-))
Also if you have tons of your own family photos stuck on a hard drive you need this…..I wrote an article on my photography training website with my tips on creating your own digital photo books. Hopefully you’ll take some inspiration from it to sit down and put all of your photos into a lovely album!
