How to run a thriving lifestyle photography business
This intensive 1 day business workshop is designed for photographers who want to run a business that delights both their clients AND themselves.
You’ll be challenged to make your photography business the best it possibly can be.
You’ll be inspired to find your own style, voice and brand.
You’ll be rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in, leaving with some of the hard work already done, and feeling crystal clear on what it is you need to do to create the business you desire.
If your business isn’t quite where you want it to be, and you want someone to take you by the hand and show you what to do, then The Delight Workshop could be exactly what you’ve been looking for.
“I have followed Vicki’s work for some time and was thrilled to be able to attend the Delight Workshop. Vicki’s artistic approach is beautiful, but it was her skills as a business woman that I wanted to learn from and the experience did not disappoint.
Vicki was extremely generous with her knowledge, skillfully sharing the techniques and thought processes behind how she runs her business. I left feeling invigorated and inspired, scribbling down strands of new ideas over the next few days.
Now that I’ve had a chance to concentrate on shaping my new knowledge and understanding how I want to see my business develop, I have a clear plan marked out for applying the workshop learnings to my work.
I would recommend this workshop and working with Vicki in any capacity in a heartbeat. I hope to learn from you again soon. Thank You!”
Are you struggling with any of these in your business?
- You’re panicking as you’re currently staring at a nearly empty diary for the year and you have no idea where the bookings are going to come from.
- You’re overwhelmed with all of the conflicting information and business advice available and don’t know where to start.
- You know you’re not charging enough to be profitable, but you’re scared to put your prices up in case no-one ever books you again!
- You keep hearing that you need to do in-person sales to make a success out of family photography, but you just don’t want to do it. You’d love to make more out of online galleries, but you just don’t know how.
- You’re feeling burnt out, you’re spending too much time working and not enough time with your family, friends or looking after yourself. And you’re not making enough money to make it worthwhile.
- Marketing scares you and feels a bit slimy. You just don’t know where to start….website, Instagram, Facebook advertising, networking, mailing list…..aaaarrgghh!
Can you relate to some (or all!) of these?
I totally understand. I have had ALL of these worries and struggles at some point in the 11 years that I’ve run my photography business.
But I’ve found the way through them, to get to the point now where I’m running a profitable business, shooting what I love, whilst having a balanced life with time for me, my friends and my family.
Would you love me to take you by the hand (figuratively not literally, unless you want me to of course 😉 ) and show you exactly what you need to do to run a thriving lifestyle photography business that suits you and your life?
“Vicki is so giving with her content, there really is nothing held back. The support and advice really does make you feel really special and give you the encouragement that you can go forward with your business.
I would highly recommend to anyone who needs to refresh and revamp their business but also someone starting out.
This truly will be your best investment ever!”

“I have admired Vicki’s photography for some time and been an avid listener to her podcast.
In this 1 day workshop, Vicki was so generous with her knowledge and expertise she has developed over the years. I am kicking myself I didn’t attend sooner. I can see why she delights all her clients… her customer experience approach and attention to detail are inspiring.
I left with a new found energy to develop my business to work for me and amaze my clients. Thank you so much Vicki.”

“I contacted Vicki for a 121 mentoring session, as despite working for myself as a professional photographer for 7 years, I felt I needed to change certain aspects of my business in order to move things forward. I thought Vicki would be the perfect person to help with this.
I wasn’t disappointed. We covered everything I needed to in the session and more. I left with a solid strategy to work on for the year ahead. Vicki was so lovely to work with and very generous in the amount of knowledge she shared. I can’t recommend highly enough.”

Have more questions?
Yes of course! This is the 2nd time I have run a 1 day business workshop, but I have run my Delight Retreat 4 times now, which has the same business content included.
Here is the link to my blog post with lots of photos from my first ever retreat in April 2016 and more details of what we went up to.
And here are some of the blog posts written by some of the attendees after the retreat so you can hear about it in their words.
I want to keep the group small to ensure that you all get the individual attention you need, so there will be a maximum of 8 people attending.
I believe it’s different for a few different reasons.
Firstly this workshop is designed for photographers who want to create a profitable business. The focus of the workshop is providing you with the strategies and advice you need to make your business a success. Many other photography workshop focus more on the shooting side, whereas this 1 day workshop is focusing on what you need to do to run a thriving business.
Also, I really care about your business succeeding. I won’t hold anything back. I only run 1 workshop/retreat once a year, and I will be there as your mentor cheering you on along the way. (And at least you can be confident that the advice you are receiving is from someone who is currently running a successful photography business, not someone who is only training fellow professionals because they can’t get make their photography business work. 😉 )
If you have been working on building your portfolio and are in the process of building your business then the workshop will be great for you to establish your style and brand right from the start.
I wish a workshop like this had been available when I first started my business!
If you’re an aspiring photographer just thinking about starting a business then the workshop isn’t right for you as we will be spending a lot of time talking through fairly advanced business and marketing strategies.
That depends. If you are totally satisfied with where your business is right now, you’re getting the amount of clients you want and are happy with the orders you receive, then you probably don’t need to attend the workshop.
However if you have been in business for years and you’re still not making the money you want from it, or attracting the right kind of clients then the workshop could be just what you need. Many of the past attendees had been in business for nearly a decade and got tons of value out of it.
Sometimes when you are so close to your work and your business, it’s a challenge to see what needs to change. And if you just carry on doing the same things, you’ll only get the same results. So often what is necessary is for someone to help you take a step back and look at your business and work objectively, and advise you what you need to do to get the results you want.
There aren’t any shoots in this 1 day workshop and I won’t be going through editing techniques. I won’t be training you on in-person sales techniques as I do solely online galleries (and yes I get really good orders from them and will show you how you can too!)
I do understand. It’s always difficult to take the leap to investing in training especially when you aren’t making much of a profit. But if you carry on with what you are doing you are only going to get the same results. So you need to invest in training to learn how to change things and start getting the results you want.
When I have invested in training in the past, I have always looked at it that I only need to get one new client in order for it to pay for itself. Or you could look at it this way, you only need to get less than £150 extra from your next 3 clients and you will have made your money back. I’m confident if you take action on the advice you learn in the workshop that you will be able to do this.
As with all online transactions, there is a 14 day ‘cooling off’ period, so if you change your mind within this time then your deposit will be refunded in full.
After this time the deposit is non-refundable, but you are welcome to find someone to fill your place.
Yes that’s no problem, everyone is welcome!
That’s fine! Just drop me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
