Photographer and personal brand strategist. I'm on a mission to help you get visible in your business with genuine confidence.

Meet Vicki

Are you feeling nice and festive? I am but panicking slightly that I still have some xmas shopping to do!

I have a treat for you today as I have lots of images to share with you from some personal branding shoots I have done with the lovely Rona Wheeldon from Flowerona. Rona is a really successful floral blogger, if you’re a florist then I know you’d have heard of her! She supports people in the floral industry with inspiration and social media guidance.

I’ve worked with Rona a number of times now. She had 2 headshot sessions with me in the past, then I’ve done two full personal branding shoots with her which is what I’m sharing with you today.

At a personal branding shoot, I spend a couple of hours with you and photograph much more than just headshots. I take photos that really capture who you are and what you do.

When I arrived at Rona’s house she had the brilliant Lucy Hooper doing her make up, so I snapped a few behind the scenes photos to start with.

We started the session in Rona’s gorgeous summer house/office in her garden.

I always take some lights with me when I’m shooting inside just in case there is a perfect spot to shoot that doesn’t have perfect light on it. I thought this leather chair worked brilliantly with Rona’s first outfit, so with a bit of extra light we managed to get some lovely shots there.

Then onto the 2nd outfit of the shoot. This burgundy jumper worked brilliantly for the photos as that colour is part of Rona’s branding so it just works perfectly when included in her beautifully curated Instagram grid.

As part of a personal branding session, I also love to capture details that will work really well on your website and your social media pages.

Then onto the final outfit choice, I just love that skirt! I had a little play around with my tripod and slow shutter speeds to capture the image below on the bottom left. She looks like she’s just stepped out of the pages of a magazine!

I just love how Rona has incorporated these photos into her brand new website.

I also wanted to share with you some photos from Rona’s shoot the previous year, as I never actually got round to blogging them!

If you run your own business and would love some photos like this to take your brand to the next level, and start attracting your dream clients, then you can see more details about my personal branding shoots here. I’m taking bookings for personal branding shoots for spring 2019.

I also run headshot mornings during the year where you have a 20 minute shoot with me to update your headshots. Get in touch with me for more details as I’m soon going to be announcing my 2019 dates and locations.

I think this will be my last blog post of the year, so I just wanted to say thank you to all of you for your wonderful support in 2018 and to wish you a very merry Christmas. See you on the other side!
