I hope you’re enjoying the summer holidays so far. Although what has happened to our lovely summery weather, please come back!
I’m loving spending time with my boys, although the usual holiday juggling of being a full-time mum and running a business is already proving a challenge! I counted up how many sessions I still need to blog and there are more than 25, aarrggh! But rather than get too intimated I thought I would start with one of my more recent sessions.
I sent the galleries from my lavender sessions over to the families in the last few days. I was delighted to receive this email back from one of the families as soon as they had viewed their gallery. They also had a spring mini session with me a few months ago and it was great to photograph them again so soon.
“I was so excited to see your email this morning. I totally love all of the pictures. Thank you so much for creating these beautiful photographs of our family, both sessions have captured the children’s personalities so perfectly. You have such an amazing talent to be able to identify and capture the defining moment.
Looking at the images we have on our wall from the spring session fills me with pride and happiness every time I look at them and I know that the lavender images will do exactly the same when we have them up. There is no doubt at all that we will see you again, I am addicted!”
It’s emails like this that make all of the juggling and evenings sat at my desk worthwhile!
Here are the images from this family’s shoot in the lavender fields, and hopefully soon I’ll get a chance to blog their spring session too.
As I mentioned in my last blog post, I have been getting lots of enquiries about lavender sessions for this year. I’m so grateful for the interest but my next lavender sessions will be in the summer of 2016. I normally announce the details of my lavender mini sessions just before Christmas and the slots fill up fast. To make sure you don’t miss out, fill in your details below where is says ‘exclusive updates’. Thank you.
I’ll be back shortly to share one of the 25 sessions I’ve yet to blog!
