I hope you had a lovely weekend. Mine was a very busy one with a whole morning of family autumn mini sessions on Saturday followed by a long afternoon in A&E after my youngest was accidentally poked in the eye at a party… I didn’t even realise it was possible to scratch your eyeball but now I’m very aware that it is! He’s fine now, but it’s always horrible to see your child in so much pain. Don’t worry, I had a few glasses of wine on Saturday night to recover from the stress! He was running around dressed as The Gruffalo yesterday so recovered quickly as you can see from this snap on Instagram.
Anyway, back to the mini sessions….I photographed 4 lovely families in a beautiful spot near Farnham, Surrey that I’d spent a long time searching for.
My assistant for the morning, Tamsin, kindly took a few behind the scenes photos for me so I thought I’d share them with you. I’ve realised from these that I look like a bit of a bag lady when I’m shooting and pull some odd faces!
I’ll be sharing a few sneak peeks from the morning on my Facebook page soon so make sure you like my page so you see them.
Take care,
PS. If you want to learn how to take great photos of your own children, I have recently announced two January dates for my Photography for Parents workshop in Cobham, Surrey. I have lovely gift vouchers available so it would make a great Christmas present!
