I hope you’ve had a good week. Mine has been busy catching up after half term and also photographing headshots for some lovely women in business which you can see over on my Instagram profile.

Also panic has set in that it’s now summer and I need to be beach-ready! After consuming far too much lovely food and wine recently it was time for some drastic measures so for the last 3 days I’ve been on a bit of a juice & soup detox and exercising far more than usual. Now if only I could keep this up everyday I may be beach ready in about 3 months, but I already feel my will-power sliding as it’s nearly the weekend and I can hear a glass of wine calling my name!

I have a great shoot to share with you today with a family with 4 older boys that took place at the beginning of April. I have had a few shoots recently with teenagers which has made a lovely change from the younger children I usually photograph. I don’t have to make nearly so many animal noises to get smiles from them. 😉

Their gorgeous labrador Daisy is adored by all of them and I was so pleased when they said that they wanted to make her a big part of the shoot. Here are some of the photos from our morning together at their local park.

The family ordered some lovely frames and the full digital collection of images so they can enjoy them forever! One of the products they ordered was my new quad wall display which looked stunning. Here are a few photos I snapped of them before they went to their new home.

This was the message I received after they received their products….

“Vicki, we received the frames & pictures…I don’t know what to say! What a beautiful result! The frames make the pictures jump out at you and the colours are popping! The quad wall display is gorgeous! So completely the boys, even the tilt of their heads!

I will be happy every time I look at these pictures, and I will look at them every single day. Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

How lovely is that, that message totally made my week!
