Happy new year! Can I still say happy new year on 7th January? It’s my first blog post of 2016 so I’m hoping I can get away with it!

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas break. I properly unplugged from work for a few weeks and it was so lovely to spend time with my family without checking my emails or running off to my computer!

My boys went back to school yesterday so I’ve been busy tackling my inbox and preparing for my upcoming masterclass at the SWPP photography convention.

I’ve put together this slideshow of my work to show in the masterclass. I’m going to be talking to other professional photographers about how I capture connection, expression and natural laughter from the families that I photograph. So in this slideshow, I purposefully chose images that I’ve taken that I believe have that by the bucket-load!

Some of the images are from very recent family shoots and some are at least 6 years old! As soon as I finished I realised I have missed out lots of my favourite images from over the years, but I knew if I spent too long choosing I would never get it finished!

So grab yourself a cuppa, turn up your sound and sit back and relax for 3 minutes. I hope you enjoy it!
