I’ve dreamt of having my own lifestyle studio to do branding shoots for years and last year I finally had it built. 🙂 I’m so happy with it and have loved the branding shoots I’ve done in the studio so far.
If you’d like to see the build of the garden studio, check out my reel on Instagram. It was all built in the factory so it was amazing to see how quickly it was installed.
Here are a few photos of the inside of the studio. I decided to paint one of the walls a dark shade of grey so that we can get variety in your photos with the light and dark backgrounds. And the brilliant thing about the shelves is that we can add your own props to match your branding and style.
Behind the studio is a private changing room so you have somewhere to hang your outfits and get changed in private and with a handy mirror!
If you would love to have a branding shoot but you don’t want to have the shoot in your own home or in a public space, this is the perfect alternative.
Here are some of the shoots that I have done in the studio so far….
This first branding shoot is with Head of Research at EY, Amy Walters. Amy has just published her debut book, Ruthlessly Caring and needed some author headshots and images to use on her new website and for PR.
Here’s what Amy had to say about the experience:
“I had a fantastic photo shoot experience with Vicki. She was so friendly and created such a lovely relaxed atmosphere. It was great to use her beautiful garden studio and the accompanying changing booth, as it made it incredibly easy to store and switch into different outfits.
I’ve only shared one of the photographs so far and had a deluge of compliments, with a great selection of photos still to use for my book and website. All in all, very happy with the results and would definitely recommend Vicki and the lovely garden studio to anyone looking to get some professional photographs done. Thanks so much Vicki!”

This next shoot is with Tosh Brittan, aka The Divorce Goddess, who I have photographed a number of times before. Tosh is also just about to have her first book published so needed some fresh images for that. The studio was perfect as I was able to photograph her in a number of different outfits and with different backgrounds.
I also have a gorgeous forest just at the end of my road, so we were able to walk there and capture some lovely photos of Tosh enjoying the woods. We were so lucky with the autumn colour and golden light!
This shoot was with the lovely Kristina, an architect and founder of KLB Homes.
This next shoot was with Natasha Ferrier who is a personal trainer. The combination of the studio and the forest worked perfectly for Natasha’s shoot.
And then last but not least is this shoot I did with fellow photographer, Hannah MacGregor.
If you would love to have your own branding shoot in my garden studio in Hindhead, Surrey, just fill in this form and I’ll send you more details.
And to finish here is me and little Betsy outside the studio and one of me at my desk.
I can’t wait for all of the branding shoots I have booked in this year in lots of different locations, and I love that I now have this new option to offer my clients too.
