Wow, it’s been a busy start to the year so I just realised I’ve neglected my poor blog so far in 2018. But at least I’m back now!

There’s been a lot going on…I’m in the process of having my workshop website completely re-designed. The prevous design was only 5 years old, but it’s amazing how quickly things change in website design and things can look so outdated after just a few years. The new design and branding is looking great, so I’m excited to share that with you soon.

This year I’m also going to be focusing more on the personal branding and headshot photography side of my business. I’ve been doing headshots for business people for 8 years now, but now with the increase of popularity of business owners creating personal brands, I want to offer more bespoke shoots for business owners. And also I’ve started hosting a new podcast! It’s with my photographer friend Eddie, and targeted towards other photographers and creative entrepreneurs. I’ve absolutely loved it so far and we’ve chatted to some really interesting people. Within just a few episodes we reached the top 5 in iTunes New & Noteworthy section and also got our first sponsor! But I know you didn’t come here to listen to me waffling on about what I’ve been up to! Today I’m sharing with you a shoot that I absolutely loved. It’s with a family that I photographed a few years earlier and I’ve done a headshot session with the lovely mum for her wills business.

We were lucky to have a gorgeously sunny day and the girls were an absolute delight to photograph!

And the last shot of the whole session is now one of my favourite shots I’ve ever taken. I’m so pleased we encouraged them to go into the lake!

The family ordered lots of gorgeous products including some frames to display, a beautiful fine art album and all of the digital images to enjoy forever!
