How’s your summer going? We started ours with a lovely week in Greece, then when we returned both of our boys injured their feet on the same day. They both had to have x-rays on their right feet at the same time, what are the chances?! My youngest has broken his toe so that’s ruled out a lot of the summer plans we had like going to the beach or trampolining. 🙁 Anyway, we’re making the most of all of the other stuff we can do and having some nice lazy days too.

My eldest starts senior school in September (aaarrgghh!) so I’m making the most of this last summer before he gets too grown up! I can’t quite believe that I started this blog before he was even a year old, and now he’s off to secondary school…that decade just went past in a bit of a blur! As they say, when you have young kids, the days are long, but the years are short. It’s so true!

Anyway, I’m here to share some lovely spring mini sessions with you. My autumn mini sessions are all booked up now, but I will be announcing my Spring 2020 mini sessions in the autumn, just add your name to my mailing list at the bottom of this post to ensure you’re one of the first to get all of the details.

I just love shooting in this location near Farnham, Surrey…. you get such a variety of different looks in your photos within just a short, fun 25 minute session (even the Dads admit that they ended up quite enjoying themselves!)

This first session is with Jo and her family. Jo is actually a talented photographer herself, who has attended my Delight Retreat…no pressure then! Luckily the shoot went brilliantly!

If you’re a regular reader of my blog, you may recognise this next family as I’ve photographed them a few times before. They’ve had an autumn mini session, one in the lavender fields, so now it was time for a spring one!

This next session was with a lovely mum and daughter, it was lovely to capture the wonderful connection between them. Here’s what Helen had to say about the experience…

“Vicki was fantastic from start to finish. It was easy to book and she made me feel like she understood my daughter and myself and our situation. She made the photography session so much fun for my 5 year old who had said she didn’t want her photo taken ! And the results are so beautiful- special memories. Thank you Vicki.”

Ah, how lovely is that!

And lastly this lovely family had a custom session with me a couple of years ago and wanted some updated photos, so a mini session suited them perfectly. I just love the photo of the little ones sat on the bench laughing, so cute!
