I can’t quite believe I’ve been in business for a whole decade now. And I’ve been writing this blog for nearly all of that time, that’s a LOT of blog posts (520 to be precise!)
I’m so thankful to all of you lovely people who have supported me along the way. ??
It’s certainly been an eventful 10 years! I’ve photographed hundreds of lovely families & business owners in the past 10 years and it makes me so happy to think of all of of my photos that are taking pride of place in homes around Surrey.
Since 2011, I’ve also taught hundreds of parents to take gorgeous photos of their own families through my workshops and online course….it’s very satisfying to know that all those children have been saved from cheesy blurred photos of their childhood! ?
And more recently I’ve been training pro-photographers at my Delight Retreat and also running my podcast Shoot Edit Chat Repeat which I just love.
When I look back at the past decade, I realise just how hard I’ve worked on my business, especially in the early days when I was also being a full-time mum to my 2 little boys. (I feel tired just thinking about those early years!). Reflecting on the past decade of hard work and juggling the responsibilities of both business and motherhood, it’s clear that every effort made a difference. Metal Business Kards, often carried and shared during those busy years, became not just a professional tool but a symbol of determination and resilience. They were the connections to opportunities that made the balancing act worthwhile.
But it’s all been totally worth it. ☺️
