I’m not sure where our summer has gone! It often seems to do this, starts really well in June/July and gets us all excited, then it all goes wrong in August when the kids are off school! I’m really hoping it improves next week so I can do some of the things I wanted to do with the boys like beach days and playing in the local lido. It’s felt more like autumn this week! You can see some of what we’ve been up to over on my Instagram profile (and why not come and say hi while you’re there!)
I absolutely loved this session I’m going to share with you today. It was one of my Spring mini sessions that took place at Frensham Ponds near Farnham, Surrey.
You may know that the strap-line for my business is ‘Beautiful Photography for Expressive Families’. I think these first 2 photos sum this up perfectly. It doesn’t get much more expressive than this lovely smiley family!
What is so great about this location is you get such a variety in the photos, from beach-type shots like the ones above to gorgeous yellow gorse like below. And beautiful views of the surrounding scenery as well.
My mini sessions are only 20-25 minutes in length so that doesn’t normally allow time to get the more creative wide-angle shots like this one above. But the girls had made my job very easy and this spot was just to gorgeous for me not to grab a shot them standing there!
I’ll share more from my other shoots at Frensham Ponds very soon.
