Are you feeling ready for Christmas? It’s a bit of a weird one this year isn’t it…but the lack of school events and xmas parties has meant that December hasn’t felt as crazy as it usually does.

I always do a blog round up of the year, but where to start with 2020?! It’s been a challenging year for everyone, and if you’ve found it particularly tough my heart goes out to you.

I had to stop shooting for over a third of this year due to the lockdowns, so to all of my clients who I had to reschedule, thank you so much for your understanding.

I want to say a massive thank you to all of the families who I did get to photograph in 2020. You’ve all put a massive smile on my face.  Thank you to all of you who have booked shoots for 2021 (my spring & summer mini sessions are very nearly sold out, just one lavender evening slot left, thank you!)

Thank you to all of the photographers who follow me, listen to the podcast and came to our podcast event in Jan.  I was due to be running one of my Delight workshops in London in June but obviously wasn’t able to do that. So I spent the first lockdown turning it into a 6 week online group training programme for family photographers. I did the first live programme in the summer and it was brilliant. I’ve just opened the doors to my Jan/Feb programme and it’s already over 50% full. If you’re a family photographer (or an aspiring one) you can see all of the details here.

And I’m so happy that I was able to go ahead with my Visibility Retreat in September with a wonderful group of women. We were incredibly lucky with the weather and we had such a fab few days. Here are the group on one of the sunset swims. ????

I’ve already booked the venue in Sussex for my 2021 Visibility Retreat which is taking place 22-24 September 2021. I thought I would end the year on a high, by showing you the 50 amazing business women that I was lucky enough to photograph in 2020 (despite lots of rescheduling of shoots during the lockdowns!)

These women have inspired me, humbled me and put a massive smile on my face. Looking at these photos makes me feel so incredibly lucky that I get to do a job that I adore.

They all run such varied businesses, including a heartbreak coach, social media expert, yoga teacher, famous author, graphic designers, lifestyle brand founders & lots more in between! The one thing they all have in common is a desire to help other people through what they do. It’s so inspiring when I talk to my clients about why they do what they do. My aim is always to show this passion in their photos.

I absolutely love making women shine and showing them how the rest of the world sees them….as the incredible, inspiring women that they are.
