I ran a morning of headshot sessions at The Medicine Garden in Cobham at the beginning of the year. I remember it was a freezing cold day in February, I was very pleased that I’d worn my thermals! I’ve already shared a few headshots sessions I’ve had in this location with garden designer Lisa Cox and Katie Levett from What Katie did Next.

One of my sessions was with 2 lovely ladies from Plantpassion. With their business being all about gardening and plants, it just wouldn’t have been right to have their headshots taken indoors in front of a white background. But the natural backdrops of the Medicine Garden were perfect for them.

Not everyone that I do headshots for runs their own business. I have photographed many ladies who book a session as a treat to themselves or as a confidence boost. I have done a couple of family shoots with Charlotte (below), but she had no photographs just of herself. I do love letting women see themselves how other see them.
